Our Family Tree
We strongly believe that a child that joins our family through adoption shall know that they have two parts to their family tree - that of his/her birth family and that of his/her adoptive family. We like to think of the birth family as the roots - that which provides a strong foundation for who the child is. The branches of the tree represent the adoptive family, which is the visible expression of what the child can become. Both the roots and the branches are necessary for a tree to flourish. So, too, is it necessary for a child to know about his/her birth and adoptive families.
